Bio

This is the icon journal of

tarampaiel. My icon-making tends to be somewhat sporadic, but I've recently revamped this journal in the hopes that I'll be iconing at more regular intervals in the near future. I icon fairly slowly, but I have a passionate (and sometimes bizarrely philosophical) love for icons. I also have a mild obsession with right angles.

I don't really have much to say here beyond the obvious: comment to let me know if, by some chance, you visit and want to use any of my icons (or just if you visit--I don't get many visitors), don't hotlink my icons, and credit me for them in some way if you use them. Beyond that, I'm not really picky. If you want to ask me about anything at all, just leave me a comment.

The code for my layout is a heavily-adapted version of Afternoon by

interlinea The header was made by me using a photograph of a Boston skyscraper from freefoto.com. All lyrics were either adapted or stolen directly from the song "Hotel Yorba" by the White Stripes, which I have long associated with the Hotel Infinity.

I used to have a list of brush and gradient resources, but I honestly rarely use either these days, apart from photoshop defaults. If I do use any of these, I'll be sure to credit them specifically for the icon.
